NEW POSITION: Program Manager

Compensation $65,000-$70,000 a year

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all Program Operations: shelter, advocacy, counseling, Menders, and crisis response team
  • Coordinate comprehensive services for adult and juvenile clients by supervising services provided by staff and making appropriate referrals within the agency and with other community resources


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC)
  • Master's degree in counseling related field
  • One-year experience in related clinical setting
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with similar client population group


JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  1. Knowledge of the psychological and physical effects of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and emotional abuse as well as issues of legality and ethics
  2. Knowledge of a variety of counseling techniques and demonstrated skill in application of these techniques 
  3. Knowledge of and appropriate response to trauma
  4. Ability to provide supervision and direction for advocacy team
  5. Ability to supervise and manage personnel effectively
  6. Skill in serving as a liaison between victims and legal, financial, and medical agencies
  7. Good public relations skills for forming collaborative partnerships with other service providers and and agencies
  8. Good organizational skill for managing programs over a broad geographical area
  9. Able to provide training and consultation 


HOURS

Minimum of 40 hours a week
