MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide and facilitate sexual assault prevention and education programs in the Wings of Hope service area


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in social services or related field and/or experience in providing sexual assault education programs
  • Graduate work preferred
  • Relevant experience working with teens and young adults preferred


JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  1. Knowledge of issues related to rape and sexual assault
  2. Knowledge of psychological and physical effects of domestic violence, child abuse or neglect, sexual assault and emotional abuse as well as issues of legality, ethics, and treatment of these.
  3. Knowledge of effective educational material and methods.
  4. Ability to be a dynamic and engaging presenter able to speak comfortably with large groups of adolescents, collegiate age and community groups.


HOURS

40 hours a week
